God Remembers Noah – Genesis 8
The ark didn’t save Noah, God did. Noah’s faith wasn’t in a vessel of wood and pitch but rather in the Almighty God, who – even as His wrath poured forth judgment on mankind and creation – displayed His infinite goodness and grace.

- 1 John: “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I myself will raise them up in the last day.”
- Noah worships God. He knows that it is only through God’s grace that he was invited on that ark.
- Worship is the only appropriate response to God’s grace.
- If you are in Christ, God remembers you. Never for an instant are you away from His thoughts (Psalm 139:17-18).
- But in Christ, God also forgets: “I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for your own sake. I will not remember your sins.” (Isaiah 43; see also Hebrews 10:17)
